The Minnesota State Bar Association announced Paul M. Floyd, partner in the firm of Wallen-Friedman & Floyd, as president or the new bar year. Floyd is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law; additionally, incoming MSBA Board of Governors are President-Elect Samuel Edmunds, Sieben Edmunds Miller; Treasurer Thomas R. The Minneapolis Foundation announced the following new members to its Board of Trustees. Jazz Hampton, TurnSignl; Christina Le, entrepreneur; Patricia Torres Ray, former Minnesota state senator, and Alex Ware, executive. … The Sheltering Arms Foundation, a children-focused support organization of the Episcopal Church of Minnesota, announced Diane Grossman has been named executive director, effective July 1. She succeeds Denise Mayotte, who is retiring. Grossman had been associate director, and has been with the organization since 2001.
